Hopelink Action Foundation (HAF Uganda) joined key stakeholders in a preparatory meeting for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), currently taking place at the UNHCR Board Room in Palabek Refugee Settlement. The meeting brings together partners committed to strengthening coordinated efforts in the prevention and response to GBV within refugee and host communities.
The session focuses on planning impactful activities, strengthening collaboration among organizations, and ensuring a unified approach to addressing GBV issues during the global campaign. Discussions include awareness creation, community engagement strategies, survivor support mechanisms, and advocacy initiatives aimed at promoting safety, dignity, and protection for all.
HAF Uganda’s participation highlights its continued commitment to combating GBV and promoting mental health and psychosocial well-being. By engaging in such collaborative platforms, the organization contributes to shaping inclusive and effective interventions that respond to the needs of vulnerable populations, especially women, girls, and other at-risk groups.

The 16 Days of Activism campaign serves as a powerful reminder of the collective responsibility to stand against violence and work towards safer, more equitable communities. #gbv #hafuganda #unhcr
