We pride ourselves on building strategic and synergistic partnerships, including with: • War Child Canada / War Child Alliance (INSPIRE, CEF Projects) • Mastercard Foundation (Strategic alignment on Youth Livelihoods & TVET) • Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) (Transition of Maratatu VSTC) • Street Child Uganda • Learning Equality / Amal Alliance • The European Union (ECHO) • Education Cannot Wait (ECW) • TPO Uganda • Finn Church Aid (FCA) • Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), Uganda • UNHCR
We are actively seeking to expand our strategic partnership with War Child Canada and align more closely across several interconnected priorities:
Scalable Education & Child Protection Models: Deepening our collaboration on digital learning solutions (Can’t Wait to Learn, Flying Colors/Kolibri) and strengthening child protection referral systems within refugee and host community schools.
Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Systems: Scaling evidence-based interventions such as TeamUp, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Community Based Sociotherapy (CBS) to reach more children, teachers, and caregivers affected by displacement and conflict.
Youth Livelihoods & Employment (TVET): Transforming the Maratatu Vocational Training Centre (MVSTC) into a regional center of excellence for youth employment and entrepreneurship, equipping refugee and host community youth with market-driven skills (ICT, Motorcycle Mechanics, Hairdressing, Carpentry, Tailoring) alongside essential life skills and MHPSS.
Teacher Professional Development: Expanding our investment in continuous professional development for educators, including training on MHPSS, self-care, curriculum development, and inclusive pedagogy, to build resilient, high-quality teaching workforces in under resourced settings.
Secondary & University Scholarship Pathways: Addressing one of the most critical barriers to education by establishing scholarship support for bright but disadvantaged secondary and university students. Many talented refugee and host community youth complete primary education only to have their dreams halted by a lack of fees. A dedicated scholarship component would unlock this talent pipeline, creating role models and professionals who will, in turn, uplift their communities.
We believe that by integrating mental resilience, digital innovation, quality education, employability, and tertiary education pathways, we can co-create a scalable model that not only transforms individual lives but also strengthens entire communities. We look forward to exploring how our shared vision can translate into lasting impact for the most underserved populations in Uganda.
