The TOGETHER project (Towards Greater Effectiveness and Timely Humanitarian Education Response) with funding from
the European Union Humanitarian Aid is being implemented in a consortium led by Finn Church Aid
(FCA) in partnership with Hopelink Action Foundation (HAF) Uganda, Cheshire Services (CSU), Promoters of Agriculture
and Market Linkages (PALM Corps), and Forum for Education NGOs (FENU).
This project aims to directly support 50,861 children, in primary, secondary, and Accelerated Education for a period
of 24 months. The overall objective is to provide access to quality and inclusive formal and non-formal education for
South Sudanese and Sudanese refugees, asylum seekers, and host community children in Palorinya, Rhino Camp, Palabek,
Kiryandongo, and Imvepi refugee settlements in Uganda.
The project will focus on increasing enrolment, retention, and transition of conflict-affected girls and boys,
strengthen child protection and safeguarding mechanisms, improve response and referral systems, and promote child
participation through the Girl child empowerment.
Hopelink Action Foundation (HAF) Uganda leading Psychosocial Support (PSS) through TeamUp activities with learners
of age group 7 - 14 in the selected schools at the above mentioned schools. Flying Colors sessions shall also be
inculcated in the two selected schools in Palabek Refugee Settlement under this project.
