HAF Uganda is dedicated to saving lives, rebuilding, sustainable communities empowering and creating a hopeful future for the underserved
HAF Uganda community outreach

We provide a Biopsychosocial MHPSS intervention Model, where we employ the following approaches to address the emotional anguish that affect community.

Save lives

Each week, over 2 people die in Northern Uganda from suicide – more than 10 attempted suicide and hundreds of suicidal ideations reported each week—-all these are preventable if identified early. In addition to psychoeducation and community sensitization, HAF Uganda provides lifesaving psychological First Aid support through the trained community-based suicide monitoring committee so, family members spared the anguish of losing their loved ones for lack of basic immediate response.
